How to manage the webmail "Contact Lists" once they are created:
The webmail accounts allow us to manage the Contact Lists through CSV (Comma Separated Values) files.
If you have to make updates, make them in one of the accounts, I usually use "EventChair." That will bring that one up to date.
To update the others, you'll need to Export the new updated list, delete all of the contacts from the other accounts and then import the new one.
Log into the EventChair web mail account. Go to URL: email.cubpack2.org in your Internet Browser
Click on the "Address Book" link at the top of the mail page.
Update an Existing Entry in the Contact List:
Click on any line entry that needs to be updated (you can click on the name or email address or the EDIT button to the far right). A new window will pop up where you can make the necessary changes and select Update Contact to save the changes.
Add new contact to the Contact List:
If you need to add an entry, select the "Add New Contact" button in the middle of the page. Add the new info in the new window (we only use First Name, Last Name and Email Address) and select the "Add New Contact" button to save the changes.
That completes updating the one Contact List and now you will carry those changes to the other webmail accounts.
Export / Import updated contact lists into additional webmail accounts:
While still in the EventChair webmail Contact List, hold your cursor over the Contact List button at the top of the page and then choose Import/Export Changes from the drop-down list.
Click Export CSV and choose to Save the file on your PC. Note the location since you will need to import that file in the following steps. Keep a copy for archiving.
Log out of the EventChair webmail account.
Log into the webmail account that needs to be updated. (I'll use EventChair3 as an example)
In the EventChair3 webmail account click on the Address Book button at the top of the page.
Then click the Check next to the Nickname as seen below. This will select all Contact List entries.
Then select the Delete button to delete them all and say Yes to the confirmation prompt. (They may still appear in the window, but you should see a status prompt near the bottom temporarily saying it was done)
Hold your cursor over the Contact List button at the top of the page and then choose Import/Export Changes from the drop-down list.
Under the section for the page that says Import Address Book, choose the Browse button.
Find the file that you exported in the earlier step and choose it.
Choose the Import CSV button.
The "Continue with Import" window will appear. Keep all of the default options and choose Import CSV.
You should see import complete and a message with how many rows were imported. Click on Address Book to see the changes.
Repeat these steps for each webmail account that needs to be updated.
